Spanish Instructor
Elsa Borrero is a native Colombian who received her Master of Arts in Teaching from the School of International Training. She now works as Spanish Language Instructor at Vernon Elementary School in Vernon, VT. Prior to that, she worked for nine years at Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter School (PVPA) in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She was formerly a Spanish Teacher and Coordinator of the Foreign Language program in Elementary Schools Program for the WSESU school district (in Vermont). Elsa loves spending time with her family, embarking on adventures that take her to places she’s never been before. Elsa has been an artist and teacher since she was in her twenties; she has exhibited her multi-media work both in Colombia and in the US. Her work as an artist continues to define her life, including her on-going work as a graphic designer for the Vermont Jazz Center, where she serves on the board of directors.
