Are you interested in taking your Spanish studies further with a full immersion experience? Maybe you want to travel and are new or have little experience in the language. We can help you find a school where you can immerse yourself in the culture while studying the language at the same time.
We work with an international network of trusted partners we know personally through our many years working in the international language travel sector.
Our close friendship with our Spanish schools abroad means that whilst you’re busy in your international group Spanish class, or out and about discovering the rich cultural diversity of our Spanish-speaking city locations, we’re there in the background, ready to step in to provide you with that extra bit of reassurance, or to smooth out any concerns you might have.
How it works
Once we receive your inquiry, our Language Travel advisor will be in contact with you via email. We might ask you for further information to better assist you, such as accommodation preferences, what you’d like to do in your spare time, and what kind of vibe you’d like the city and country to have. We may also seek any clarifications needed to ensure we fully understand what you are looking for.
Once we have the information we need, we will introduce you to our partner school. They will then take the lead, providing you with all the program details and assist you in creating your personalized itinerary in your chosen location. If at any point you find yourself uncertain about your choice, or encounter any bumps on the road, rest assured that we will be here for you.

Learning a language abroad
The reason we want to help you out here, is that this is big! Learning Spanish abroad is a big step. It launches you into a world that you don’t properly understand. Our trusted partner schools have it all worked out – you can be met at the airport, transferred to your accommodation and shown how to get from where you’re living to where you’re going to be studying.
You could be taking local buses into school, or maybe you’re just a short walk along the beach from your school – it all depends on the location, and whether you’d like to stay in a hotel, or if you’re really feeling adventurous, with a host family who will predominantly speak to you in Spanish! That said, don’t worry, they also have years of experience of welcoming international travelers. They’ll know how you feel, and they’ll absorb your worries and Spanish language frustrations as you go.
Our partner schools offering Spanish Abroad
ILI has cultivated relationships with many schools around the world. The schools we have chosen to partner with teach in a manner similar to the way we prepare and deliver classes at our school in Northampton, MA.
Our partners offer Intensive Spanish courses, Private One-on-One, Spanish + Activity (ie. cooking, wine tasting, yoga, art, diving, and much more), 50+ groups as well as Junior Programs. You may choose to study only in the mornings and then have the afternoon free to explore on your own and join group activities. Most of the schools have a minimum of one week classes. This means you can combine your next vacation with some language learning experience to give your Spanish a boost.
Course fees to Study Spanish Abroad
Prices vary a lot depending on the type of course you choose, length of stay, accommodation, transportation to and from the airport and additional tours that you may want to add.
“ILI has been a tremendous help in my journey to learn Spanish. I’ve taken many classes as well as traveled to several language schools in Spain and Latin America. It’s been so helpful to know ahead of time that the quality of the schools would be high. Not all schools have the same priorities as ILI, so their recommendations have been crucial! Gracias!”
