Interested in joining ILI’s board?
Founded in 1984 by two visionary women who believed in the power of language to build understanding across cultures, the International Language Institute of Massachusetts continues to be guided by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors. Our board members bring a wide range of professional expertise and share a commitment to ILI’s mission and Statement of Principles.
Board members work closely with staff leadership to guide the organization’s strategic direction, ensure strong financial stewardship, and support programs that strengthen opportunities for immigrants, refugees, and global learners in our community. All board members serve on at least one committee—including Finance, Governance, or Development—and participate in meetings and special events throughout the year.
If you are interested in contributing your skills and leadership to ILI’s mission, we would welcome hearing from you.
Please send a letter of inquiry describing your interest and the skills you would bring to the board, along with a résumé, to Rebecca Lorimer Leonard, ILI Board Clerk, at board@ili.edu.
