ILI traveled to Jocotitlan, Mexico to train teachers in OpenBook English. Teachers in the school Unidad Educativa Ernesto Peralta learned about the program and then helped their students learn how to navigate OpenBook on their tablets.
“One of the biggest barriers to international students attending Marlboro College is the high proficiency in English needed to engage in academic scholarship,” says Maggie Strassman, director of international studies.
