World Language Program

A World Language Program is like setting off on a fun adventure to learn languages from different parts of the world. It’s a cool way to explore different cultures, make new friends, and open doors to exciting opportunities worldwide. You get to practice listening, speaking, writing, and reading while discovering the amazing diversity of cultures and their contributions.

Who is the World Language Program for?

ILI’s World Language Program is designed for a diverse range of individuals, catering to adults aged 17 and above, including folks in their 80s. In addition to offering a comprehensive World Language Program, ILI serves as a trusted provider of Professional Development Points (PDPs) for the state of Massachusetts and Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Whether you’re a language educator looking to fulfill professional development requirements or a professional seeking to broaden your skill set, ILI provides accredited programs that meet the highest standards of excellence. Learn Spanish

Learn Spanish in our fun classes in Northampton, MA, online, at work or study Spanish abroad in complete confidence.

Learn French

We love all things French and France, and we have a full range of programs both in the US, online or all the way over to Europe. That includes Paris of course.

Learn Italian

Italian has a vibrancy to it like no other European language. Sophisticated and classy, yet earthy and familiar at the same time. We have many ways to learn!

Learn German

German is a fun, quirky and strangely mathematical language, and our programs will bring out the hidden German in you! German courses in USA and Germany.

Learn Portuguese

Learn Portuguese at ILI! The language, like our classes are full of sunshine and joy. Learn with us here in Massachusetts, or head straight abroad!

Our staff has lived and worked in many countries including Spain, Mexico, China, Brazil, Italy, France, Latvia, Guatemala, Bulgaria, U.K., Germany, Italy, Japan, Peru and Argentina.

Selected FAQs

There is no simple answer to this question. There are many factors that can both help and hinder a student’s learning. However, students will be able to start speaking immediately in the target language with appropriate grammar and vocabulary to match the level of class they are in. Read more

Yes! ILI is an approved provider of Professional Development Points for Massachusetts.

Yes, we are happy to help you to enroll in the class that’s best for your level. Assessment are painless and are done via phone and take about 10-15 minutes. Simply fill out the assessment request form and we will be in touch shortly.

We do not currently offer scholarships in the World Language program.
