About Sabine Charton-Long

Sabine has been teaching French at ILI since 2010. She grew up in Paris, France where she lived until she came to Western Massachusetts in 1998. Each summer, Sabine returns to France to visit family and friends.

Sabine has a Bachelor’s degree in French Literature and a second Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy both from the University of Paris 10. She is also certified to teach French as a second language from the University of Paris 10. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Sabine received a Tutoring Certificate (Level III certification) from Holyoke Community College. She passed the Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure in Communication and Writing Skills (reading and writing) as well as French.
