About Eva Camacho Sanchez
Eva Camacho-Sanchez was born in Spain and moved to California in 1998 after getting a B.A. in Education. In California, she learned English, and she taught Spanish in public and private schools. In 2000 she moved to Washington DC, and until 2010 she taught Spanish at the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Export-Import Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Smithsonian Institution, and the U.S. Department of State, among many other agencies and organizations. Also, in 2010, after getting a degree in translation and interpretation at George Washington University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Graduate School, she became a certified translator and interpreter. In 2010, Eva moved to Northampton, and she became a textile artist. She loves art, and you can find some of her work in art exhibitions, galleries, and museums.
Eva still travels to Spain every year with her three children and her husband to visit friends and family. During her free time, you will find her either walking, reading or cooking Spanish food.
