About Melany Mendoza

Melany Mendoza is a community leader with more than 15 years of experience in youth development, workforce pathways, and community engagement across Western Massachusetts. She currently serves as a Workforce Development Partner at Baystate Health, where she helps connect high school students to healthcare career exploration opportunities and supports pathways into the healthcare workforce.

She is also the co-owner of AllSport Indoor Soccer Arena, a community-centered facility that provides space for youth sports, training, and community programming.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Melany moved to Western Massachusetts more than 20 years ago and began her journey in the United States as an English language student at the International Language Institute (ILI). That experience shaped her deep appreciation for the role organizations like ILI play in helping newcomers build confidence, skills, and connections.

Melany holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Thinking and Innovative Practices and is fluent in both Spanish and English. As a member of the ILI Board, she is honored to support an organization that played an important role in her own journey and continues to empower immigrant and international communities.
