TESOL Certificate Cancellation and Refund Protocol

The TESOL Certificate Program is 130 clock hours and is offered in either a 4-week intensive format or a 14-week part-time format.

Program Cost

$2,500 total

• $200 non-refundable registration fee (due at enrollment)
• $2,300 tuition

If You Are Not Accepted

If your application is not approved, you will receive a full refund of all money paid.

If ILI Cancels the Program

If we cancel the program after you enroll, you will receive a full refund of all money paid.

Instead of receiving a refund, you may choose to transfer your $200 registration fee to another ILI TESOL Certificate course within one year of the original start date.

If You Cancel Before Classes Begin

If you decide not to attend before the program starts, or if you register but do not attend any classes:

• You will receive a refund of all money paid
• Minus the $200 non-refundable registration fee

For international students who were issued an I-20, entered the United States, and then cancel before classes begin or do not attend, the school may retain up to $500 in clearly itemized non-refundable charges, in accordance with accreditation guidelines.

If You Withdraw After Classes Begin

If you attend at least one class and then withdraw, your refund will be based on how much of the program you completed.

Refunds are calculated using your last date of attendance.
If you attend any part of a scheduled week, that week counts as completed for refund purposes.

If You Withdraw Before Completing 50% of the Program

ILI will retain:

• The portion of tuition that reflects the percentage of the program you completed
  plus
• 10% of the remaining (unearned) tuition, up to a maximum of $1,000

The rest of your tuition will be refunded.

If You Complete More Than 50% of the Program

Once more than half of the program has been completed, the tuition is considered earned and no refund will be issued.

Medical or Family Emergency

If you must withdraw due to a serious medical condition or documented family emergency, you may re-enroll within six (6) months without paying another registration fee.

Refunds, if applicable, will still be calculated according to the standard policy above.

When Will I Receive My Refund?

Refunds are processed within 45 calendar days of:

• The date you notify us that you are withdrawing, or
• The date we determine that you have withdrawn

All refund calculations are documented and based on:

• Your start date
• Your last date of attendance
• Tuition charged
• Amount paid
• Percentage of the program completed
