About Lianna Hart
Lianna grew up in Florence, MA, and has taught in a variety of school settings in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Oregon, and Mexico. She learned Spanish while living and working in Guatemala at an ecological hotel in the Peten region. She later graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in Spanish and Geography and a Masters degree in Education, specializing in teaching Spanish and English to Speakers of Other Languages. After graduating, she lived in Mexico and interned at an NGO providing educational programming for children and youth in rural towns in the state of Guanajuato. In addition to traveling and teaching and learning languages, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
