About Patrick Love
Patrick Love is an educator, author, trainer, and leadership coach with more than four decades of experience in higher education. He has served in senior leadership and faculty positions at colleges and universities across the country, including roles as a vice president for student affairs, dean of students, and professor of higher education and student affairs.
Patrick’s work focuses on leadership development, organizational change, innovation, strategic foresight, and systems thinking. He is the author and editor of several books and numerous articles and is currently writing Competencies for a Chaotic World: A Practical Guide for Higher Education Leaders. Through his training practice, he works with colleges, universities, and professional organizations to help leaders and teams navigate change and build more effective organizations.
Patrick holds a Ph.D. from Indiana University and master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University at Albany (NY). A resident of Holyoke, he is an enthusiastic student of Spanish and believes strongly in the power of language, education, and intercultural
understanding to connect people and communities.
